THIS WEBSITE WAS CREATED FOR SENIOR CITIZENS, THEIR CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN, AND CAREGIVERS

DO ANY OF THESE THINGS APPLY TO YOU?:

I wish my family would spend more time with me

I am feeling too overwhelmed to be able to care for the people I love the way that I want to

I am stressed, sad, frustrated, lonely, overwhelmed

I feel unappreciated

I don’t know who to turn to for answers

I have learned a lot in my lifetime, and I wish that people would listen to what I have to say

Caregivers want to know where to turn for help when they have questions, or need a sympathetic ear, or a little extra help

Senior Citizens want to spend more time with their families, while maintaining as much of their independence as possible.

All people want to be heard, and to have their stories matter.

WAS DESIGNED TO BRING ALL OF THOSE THINGS TOGETHER IN ONE SPACE.

SHRINK RAP and GUIDANCE FROM GURUS are designed to offer professional advice on some of the most important topics that we deal with every day.

DEAR FAMILY is a space for people to send letters to someone in particular, or anyone in general. It is a safe space for heartfelt expression of your worries and thoughts, especially if they’ve been too hard to express before. These are anonymous, so speak up!

TEXTBOOK-FREE HISTORY is a space where seniors and their juniors alike will share memories from their lifetimes, whether about momentous moments in history, or the first time they fell in love or rode a bike. This is where we get to put a name, face, sight, sound, smell, taste, and feeling to those events we learn about in textbooks, but cannot possibly understand from a book.

OLDEST JOKE IN THE BOOK offers a timeout to laugh at some old-time jokes, jokes about old times, or just simple, funny stuff. After all, laughter is the best medicine. Also, Senior Citizens are funnier than you might think.

GROWING OLDER:  READ ABOUT IT.  WRITE ABOUT IT.  TEACH ABOUT IT.  LAUGH ABOUT IT.

The biggest problem facing families
